We can provide all the gear you need: kayak, paddle, PFD, helmet, and spray deck with advanced registration.

How to Join

Reach out to the organizing committee Facebook at Vancouver Island Kayak Polo at least 3 days in advance to let us know you are coming. This allows us enough time to ensure we have gear for you.

What to Bring

• Rashtop (any tight fitting long or short sleeve synthetic shirt), shorts, and/or swimsuit. Most players play in long shorts and a rashtop.
• Water bottle and snacks for after.
• Water shoes or neoprene socks to wear while paddling, but bare feet are fine too!
• Towel and dry clothes to change into afterwards.

Pricing

First time paddling $40

Drop in session $50

All paddlers must be covered by Canoe Kayak BC insurance. Register as a whitewater recreational player for drop in sessions and insurance online. If you are having difficulty with the online registration, you can pay cash and sign a waiver on the day of your visit.

We are a non-profit organization and fees support our club, gear maintenance, and accessible pool costs.
